Brief Answer:
trace elements alteration possible.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query and here is my advise.

* As per my clinical experience, fluttering leg without pain may indicate possible
alterations at trace elements levels such as magnesium, zinc or else ( as there is
history of motility related problem with bowel, which in turn can affect intestine uptake
of certain ailments )

Kindly provide me further details so that I can answer your query completely.

1. Duration of current symptoms with progress over period of time.
2. Any noticeable factors which alter its frequency ?
3. Are there cramps without pain associated it ?
4. History of diabetes or other systemic issue ?
5. How about relief after use of ice and tylenol ?

Awaiting for your response.
Regards.

I’ve been taking the Colace as a maintenance for almost 3 mins but now with this fluttering I don’t think I should be doing that. No cramps. I have thyroid hypo but medication made me hyper so not taking anything at present. Thank you

Brief Answer:
follow up .

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the details.

* Long term sodium docusate has multiple level effects on the intestines and secondary
sequences of the same.

My suggestions at present

- Should taper the dose of Colace first on alternate day for 7 days and then every 3 days
next week, as sudden stoppage would hamper the issue.
- Drink more liquids.
- Consume high fiber diet with more of green leafy veg, cereals, pulses, legumes.
- Organic fresh fruits help great.
- Get a prescription of multi vitamin with minerals from your doc to consume on daily
basis.
- Do involve in regular exercises at home ( if not involved ).
- Keep blood sugar under control.
- Avoid stress and anxiety.
- Manage sound regular sleep of minimum 6 hours, for which meditations and YOGA
prove a great deal.
- Avoid smoking and alcohol if consuming.

* Follow up suggested after 1 week or earlier as per the need.

Wish you great health.
Take care.
