Brief Answer:
Mild nerve involvement to consider.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

Symptoms you describe point towards a nerve compression or damage. From the duration and severity of the symptoms, yours seems a mild condition.

The nerve may be compressed during its pathway (tunnel syndromes) or at the exit from the spinal cord (spondylosis, herniated disc disease, spondylolisthesis, etc.).

The nerves may be damaged by conditions such as neuropathy, that may result from different underlying causes such as trauma, low vitamins B group, viral infections, prolonged alcohol use, etc.

In cases like yours, getting examined by a Neurologist and undergoing tests such nerve conduction study, spine MRI, blood tests, etc., are necessary for a correct diagnosis and treatment.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
Seems not a serious situation.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

I don't think yours is a serious condition.

However, getting examined further is necessary to evaluate correctly the situation and to foresee if there is necessary to avoid or restrict excessive physical activity or not.

Hope this helps.

Feel free to discuss with me if you have further questions.

Brief Answer:
Simple painkillers, avoid excessive physical efforts.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

In meantime, you should avoid overuse of the right leg, you should avoid excessive weights too.

Simple painkillers such ibuprofen for a few days, for example, may help with the symptoms.

Hope I helped you.

Take care.
