Brief Answer:
PTSD can aggravate sleep apnea, treatment is necessary.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Posttraumatic stress disorder can cause several reactions such as anger and nervousness.
This diagnosis is often related to high blood pressure. It can also be related to migraine headache.

This medical condition can influence negatively in sleep apnea.

I would suggest treating PSTD as the only way to maintain under control sleep apnea.

There are several ways of treating PSTD.
I would suggest:
-Medications such as antidepressant medications. The most preferred medications are serotonin re uptake inhibitors such as Celexa. It is a prescribed medication, so you should consult your doctor about this treatment.
-Psychotherapy is also recommended
-I would also suggest group therapy to share your thoughts and feelings. This will help relieving the symptoms of PSTD.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
