I've Had ACL Knee Surgery Exactly 12 Months Ago And

Question: I've had ACL knee surgery exactly 12 months ago and I recently had an MRI scan that showed the new graft is perfectly fine but I am dealing with a lot of swelling still. today my knee was extremely swollen and it felt like my foot was swollen as well. and from the day I was out of the operating room and today I've been dealing with this swelling. I've gotten the fluid drained once and was given a cortisone shot it is only happening on the right side which is the side I had surgery on the surgeon keeps telling me to come back and visit him in 2 months and seems to be not worried after the most recent MRI

here is the picture of how it usually looks

I also did have knee bursitis on both knees due to my work as a plumber . the left knee which didn't have surgery on had knee buristis that looked like a small golf ball however my right knee went through surgery during that same time my left knee had bursitis . do you think knee bursitis might be causing my swelling in my right knee ?
Brief Answer:
Suggests a local inflammation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
There is no image attached with this query. A swelling and fluid accumulation after the surgical repair is suggestive of an inflammation inside the knee. Local cortisone shot, regular hot compress and mild physiotherapy should help in reducing the swelling. If the graft and repair is intact then there is no need to worry.
I hope this answers your query.

my whole leg feels swollen all the way down to my foot
Brief Answer:
Likely to be due to bursitis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
I have seen the attached image. The swelling is more localized. This seems to be due to bursitis. The swelling will gradually reduce with rest and compression sleeve.
Hope my answer is helpful.
