I've Had An Ectopic Pregnancy Back In March And Had

Question: I've had an ectopic pregnancy back in March and had my tube removed. My husband and I are trying again and using a clear blue fertility monitor. We had intercourse on all the right days and on October 26 I had bright red light to moderate spotting for 2-3 days. Didn't look like a normal period and that happened to me last time. I took 2 tests, one that Sunday and one this past Thursday and both negative. I am crazy hormonal and my clearblue monitor hasn't read "high" chance of pregnancy yet, and by my calendar it should have yesterday. Should I test again? Can I be pregnant?

Brief Answer:
Feedback. UPT once you cross your dates.

Detailed Answer:
Hi there
I welcome you to HCM virtual clinic.
I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

I would like to know about few things in detail.
When was your last menstrual period?
Do you get regular periods?

Considering your history of ectopic pregnancy, please keep watch on your expected date of period.
Missing period is the most important sign of pregnancy, in a woman with regular menstrual cycle.

Please get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy, once you cross your dates.

Please feel free to communicate with me again.
I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Beta HCG, USG if needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hi there
thanks for appreciating the answer and reverting back to me.

As you have already crossed your expected date of period, and if urine pregnancy test is negative I will suggest you to get blood beta HCG test done, in case of any doubt USG can be done.

Beta HCG levels less than 5 indicate non pregnant condition and levels above 25 indicate pregnancy.

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.

My periods have been regular. I'm not sure if the bleed I had on October 26 was a period or not. It seemed more like spotting which is what I had last time I found out I was pregnant. My last full period was September 30th. Should I be taking another pregnancy test or do I just need to get blood work done to see if I am?
