I've Noticed Periodic Shoulder Pain In My Right Arm Over

(once every 3-6 months). It's kind of an achy pain, tolerable, and i seem to notice feeling it when waking up in the morning. I basically know its there but it doesn't disrupt my day. It also doesn't really get worse or more severe during the day and is gone in a day or 2.
It freaked me out when i first started getting it, so i had an ECG on two seperate occasions and I had a normal sinus rythm both times.
also checked my cardiac enzymes the last time and all was ok.
I also have never had any other symptoms like chest pain or tightness, no nausea, no sweating.
When it is aching I do seem to feel it if im rotating my shoulder and arm, sometimes achy in my hands. Again, its more of a noticing it, it's not bad at all.
Could it be from sleeping wrong combined with a disc bulge thats causing it(I do have a bulging disc in neck)? Feels nerve type pain.
I struggle with anxiety so the heart issue is always stressful when I experience it.
Whats the differentiating stuff where I would know it's not that?
It's unlikely to be a cardiac pain
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Firstly, it's unlikely to be a cardiac pain. Cardiac pain would typically occurs on exertion and relieves with rest. The pain due to heart attack may occur at rest but will be associated with uneasiness, sweating, ecg changes. And importantly, no one can have attacks so frequently or such prolonged pain without complications. Also, only right arm pain is unusual. So probability is very low. To further clarify the doubt, you may request your doctor for echo and treadmill test.
This is most likely due to cervical pain, due to compression of nerves between spine.
Cervical pain may increase on neck movement, arm movement, uncomfortable sleeping posture. Also, since you are already been diagnosed with disc problems, it becomes a likely cause.
You need to visit physiotherapist and also orthopaedician. Till the time he can have tab neurobion forte once a day which is a nerve vitamin. If this is not helpful then you need to Tab Pregabalin 75 mg bedtime, which is a nerve stabilizer.
Overall, doesn't fit in cardiac pain and likely a musculoskeletal pain especially cervical.
Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts.
Thanks.
