I’ve Seen A Neurologist And An ENT For Two Separate

I’ve also seen an ENT because I have an enlarged lymph node in my neck. I had an ultrasound done, which said the node was normal but my understanding is that ultrasounds of neck lymph nodes have only about an 80% accuracy. Considering my age and overall good health, the ENT was not worried about the lymph node. I didn’t tell him about the mild dream enactments though. I also have had a few instances when driving where my left ear feels slightly clogged (like there’s pressure) and the hearing might be diminished but after an hour or so it returns to normal. This happened a few times about a month ago but hasn’t happened since.
The conclusion section of the neck ultrasound says: "Impression: 1. Stable appearance of posterior left neck lymph node at level of patient's palpable lesion. 2. 2.1 x 0.8 cm left neck level II lymph node is observed with mild fatty hilum. 3. No suspicious neck lymph node seen."
Overall, despite the symptoms, I feel excellent. I have very good energy, workout, and seem to be doing well.
But I’m wondering if the enlarged lymph node changes the interpretation of the dream enactment. I didn't discuss this with the neurologist. Could the dream enactment be caused by a tumor in my brain that has spread to the lymphatic system? Or if it spread that much, would I likely have more symptoms than just mild dream enactment? Do I need a brain MRI?
Yes, you should get done MRI.

Thanks for your question on Ask a doctor forum.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the detailed history you have given.
Answer to your 1st question.
Theoratically Yes, this can be possible for brain tumor to spread via lymphatics and gives enlargement of neck lymphnode.
But in your case, I don't think so because your neurological assessment is almost normal and size of lymphnode is stable.
Answer to your 2nd question.
Yes, if it is brain tumor spread in neck lymphnode then you will definitely have more symptoms like headache, vomiting, giddiness, imbalance etc.
Answer to your 3rd question.
In my opinion, you should definitely get done MRI brain.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
