Brief Answer:
Possibly a hormonal issue.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I think that the black hair you are recently noticing growing on the sides of your face can be related to hormonal issues.
The medications you are taking are not likely to cause increased facial hair.
The increased facial hair may be caused due to menopause or hormonal issues ,
increased androgen hormones or adrenal issues.
You may need to get tested for DHEA and androgenic steroids.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
