Question: Just reviewing an MRI and it indicates "partially empty sella". Could that explain why my nose will all of the sudden have a clear fluid discharge? And could that be the reason have my headaches, fatigue and loss of sex drive? What can be done to correct it?

Brief Answer:
Empty sella will not cause nasal discharge.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist, here to answer your query.

Empty sella can't be the reason for clear nasal fluid discharge. It is seen normally in many individuals and not associated with any symptoms. In some persons however, it is secondarily caused by raised intracranial pressure or brain tumors. But since your MRI is all clear except empty sella, it should not be a cause of concern.

Hope that helps. If you have any further questions, I shall be glad to answer them.
