Just Wanted To Get Your Feedback Tooth Extracted On TN2 Side

Question: Doctor, know u must be busy this time of year and all the best to you and your family. Just one question to get your feedback. Had a tooth extracted on TN2 side which made symptoms worsen but doctors want to place an implant in now that the bone graft has healed. I am on the fence on this where I don't want to worsen symptoms but feel that the extracted site should have a tooth. With your experience, just wanted to get your feedback.. Thanks so much and have a wonderful holiday.
Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again and thanks for the kind words.
I have read your new question.
In my opinion, the implant should be placed since the bone has healed.
It is expected to have some minor pain symptoms of the TN2 2-3 days after the implantation, but this is acceptable.
I hope you too have a wonderful holiday.
Feel free to ask me if you have further questions.
I would explain as follows.

Dr, if you would, one last question. Two weeks ago in prep for getting an implant soon, the periodontist cut a portion of gum off along the jaw bone and the pain has spiked a lot.
He possibly hit a nerve. Question is will this nerve re-generate in time to provide some relief and if so, approx how long for a nerve in the gum area to grow back? Apologize writing since it is Christmas. Just the pain is so bad and understanding it helps a bit. God Bless and thank u.

Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
Gum nerves are small peripheral nerves, and when damaged, it should take some time (a couple of months) for the area supplied by the damaged nerve to stabilize.
The body provides new small nerves for these damaged areas.
Hope this helps.
In good health.
