Thank you.
Thanks for your query.
Immediate or delayed leaking of bile do occur in few patients after cholecystectomy, whether open or laparoscopic(accessory cystic duct is the most common cause ). It is good her complication was timely detected & well manged & she recovered from it.
Now her main problem is she loses her breath while standing after long sitting and has to stand for few seconds.
Orthostatic hypotension is a condition in which transient fall of blood pressure that occurs when one stands from lying or sitting position, resulting in patient not feeling well for few seconds. This needs to be ruled out as they are quite common in elderly. It has nothing to with diaphragm.
Consulting a physician or cardiologist may prove useful to make diagnosis and alleviate her suffering. Pneumonia & asthma, don`t appear to play any role in this. Proper work up & treatment will be helpful to her.
‘Hope I have answered your query, I will be available for follow ups.
“Wish her Good Health”
Regards
