Question: Large breast abscess(49.9mmX48.6 mm) found in right breast of my wife in usg of report of breast usg .
baby delivery as on 30th october,2019 ( girl baby age 2.5 months and presently on breast feeding)
Questions:
1) is operation is the ONLY solution to remove the abscess?
2) whether this operation is done by gynaecologist or general surgeon?
3)any post operative problems?
4) post operation period which doctor to be followup gynaecologist? or general surgeon?

Since when is the swelling present?
What are the symptoms? Pain, redness over abscess, fever etc?
Any FNA (Needle aspiration) done to see whether this is an abscess or Galactocele (collection of milk alone)?
Which Doctor/specialist have you consulted till now?
