Hello!

Welcome on - Ask a Doctor - service!

I understand your concern and would like to explain that it is necessary for a careful clinical investigation to arrive to the right cause of your current pain.

Though a digestive disorder would be easily suspected considering the fact your symptoms are associated with drinking and eating a cardiac issue should be first ruled out.

In this regard I would recommend to try any antacids (like Tums), or a PPIs (like Pantoprazole) and if this doesn't help you should consult your GP for internist for a careful physical exam, resting ECG and cardiac enzymes to potentially detect any sings of cardiac ischemia.

Other issues, like musculoskeletal disorders, or respiratory inflammation should be carefully sought otherwise.

Hope to have been helpful to you!

In case of any further questions, feel free to ask me again.

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
