Lately I Have Noticed- 1. That When I Awake Form Sleeping- My Heart Feels Like It Is Beating Very Fast, Like Fluttering 2. Then After About 1 Or 2 Minutes It Seems To Slow Down 3. I Measured My Beats About 5 Minutes After Waking & It Was Still Beating Very Fast - 81 Beats Per Minute 4. Is This Something To Be Concerned About?

Heart rate between 60 - 100 is Normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Normal heart rate is between 60 to 100. So the described heart rate of 81 is well withen normal limit.
During sleep our heart rate is minimum as the requirement of body's oxygen is least as there is no work.
Sometimes dreams / Nightmare which may cause sudden arousal, dehydration, anxiety may cause an increase in the heart rate, which you may perceive.
However the as i said the described heart rate is well withen normal limit and you need not worry about the same.
Maybe because of the surrounding calm and you have no other distractions, U may perceive your heart beats , giving u a false impression that your heart beat increases …
However , if your are feeling the beats very fast more than 100, along with some shortness of breath or sweating and discomfort , u should get an ECG done during the episode or 24 hours HOLTER monitoring to rule out tachy arrhythmias.
Lastly i would just say maintain, Good hydration throughout the day and before sleep and have some relaxation therapy like Yoga, music which may help soothe the heart.
Let me know if anything else is needed and i would be happy to help.
