May be due to further scarring at the site of surgery .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .
Based on the facts that you have been diagnosed o have pain in abdomen and vomiting due to MALS which was being treated by surgery but still has pain in abdomen after eating ,nausea ,Diarrhea etc .
I would be glad to know few more details to help me in making precise comments and suggestions on your problem .
1) Is endoscopic examination is carried out to rule out Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (GRDS) or Gastritis ?
2) Is Colonoscopy done to rule out Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)?
In 10 % patient who has undergone surgery for MALS do get these symptoms due to scarring at the site of surgery .Treatment with Caeliac Axis Block does help to relieve symptoms .
Please consult concerned surgeon who has carried out the surgery for evaluation and further treatment .
Taking H2 Receptor antagonist like Pantaprozole twice daily may help to relieve symptoms to certain extent .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
Dr.Patil.
I have had a colonoscopy n endoscopy. My pain concern at this time is why is there wbc ranging from 20-50 and leukocyte estarase 3+ showing up in the urinalysis.
I’m not concerned with my MALS and it was treated n even have received a stent.
Again main concern is the urinalysis with the results posted additionally the albumin being high. I know albumin rise in possible liver issues.
Urine Analysis results indicate UTI .

Hello
Thanks for follow up .
Presence of 25-30 leukocytes ,leukocyte esterase ,and albumin suggest active infection of Urinary Tract (UTI).
Get urine culture done to look out the organisms causing infection and their antibiotic sensitivity so that you can take appropriate antibiotic as per culture report .
In the mean while you can start taking Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Thanks and Regards.
