Hello!

Thank you for the query.

I assume that you are talking about laparoscopic surgery. Some kind of liver operation can be performed that way. Usually there are 3 or 4 holes to enter abdominal cavity. First one is just above the belly button, second is few centimeters below the sternum and last two holes are made in the right middle abdomen.
