Lower Portion Of Body Is Bulky. Thyroid Tested Normal. Not Cured By Diet Plan. What Is Wrong?
m bothered about my weight. the lower portion of my body is bulky. my thyroid tests are normal. i switched to many diet plans but all in vain kindly help
What is your body weight and your height?
Before you label it abnormal you have to get your BMI.
As a rule ladies have bulky lower portions in their physique that is the feminine look and is highly appreciated by opposite sex up to a limit.
But if it has crossed the limits then it's indicative that you are either overweight due to excess intake or less energy expenditure- physically inactive.
If you have excess fat then you will have more excess at lower parts as well.
Eating less is ineffective measure because you are unable to measure it, what you think is less is actually not less for your body. The dietary plan has to be designed and monitored by your therapist.
You have to include regular exercises in your daily schedule, no need for complicated maneuvers or gym, just have a brisk walking/jogging of 5 km a day and see the difference.
At your age some some ladies develop altered body image and start eating drastically less which is a neurosis called Anorexia nervosa.
Please mention your weight/age/physical activity/medicines.
I hope that answers your query.
Your BMI is 29.7, that indicates that you are overweight and you need to loose weight for looking beautiful and to avoid complications related to obesity.
You can increase your exercise programme to a more aggressive level- I mean find out the deficits- if not regular then be regular, otherwise increase the distance covered everyday. What I mean to say spend more energy so that it can burn your fat.
Medicines are with lots of side effects, very costly and once you stop them you regain back within 3 months, so not a worth trying option.
Your dietician would be the right person to plan a diet schedule for you to cut body weight because I find it a difficult job as a doctor.
I hope the advise would be helpful for you.
