Lymph Nodes In Neck Are Swollen With No Other Symptoms. What To Do?

Question: Hey, my lymph nodes in my neck are swollen. Noticed it one week ago. No other symptoms. Should see a doc now or wait to see if they go down?
Brief Answer:
Can wait and watch
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Generally lymphnodal enlargement may occur due to some underlying infection.
Sometimes subclinical infections can also cause lymphnodal enlargement.
After subsidence of infection also, lymphnodal engagement can persist for few days.
So if you are not having any symptoms, you can wait and watch.
Possibly the swelling will subside in few weeks.
Hope I have answered your query. I will be available to answer followup queries. If you are satisfied with the answer, please give your review at the end of the discussion.
Take care.
