Question: my MRI resalt states abnormal susceptibility signal, orbits, sinuses, mastoids and skull base what does this mean thanks

I have noted your case history and MRI findings.

These findings are suggestive of hemorrhage (bleeding) in areas mentioned.

For bleeding in orbits, you may see an ophthalmologist, for bleeding in sinuses and mastoid, an ENT surgeon can be consulted and for base of skull bleed, a neurosurgeon can be consulted.

Mostly, the treatment is conservative and the bleeding resolves on its own in a few days to weeks.

These findings would resolve in 4-6weeks from the date of injury.

Normal refers to normal brain, which was the region of interest in head injury. In any case, there is no need to worry about those findings, as they are self limiting.
