Male, 74. Type II Diabetic, Metformin 500 Mg 2x Day.

Question: Male, 74. Type II diabetic, metformin 500 mg 2x day. Have a heart murmur. Cardiac enlargement which report says ""Consistent with hypertension. On Lisoprinil (sp) and Labetol (sp). Staying home on days off, wearing dish cloth mask (double thick) soaked in alcohol, Purell, Clorox and PineSol. Hand washing with Purell often, and keeping 6 or more feet from EVERYBODY at work and when I go to the store. Only go to the store for one or two items then get out. Anything else I can do??? Concerned.

Work 2 days a week teaching. In a HUGE conference room. Only get 9 students a day. Spread out over the room. Closest student is 15 --20 feet away. Keep my mask on all day.

Stay away from everyone I can and go home.

Room tables wiped down at end of every class.

There are 365,000 people in my county. 69 have the virus and no deaths. So I'm hoping my contacting the virus is fairly low.
Brief Answer:
Better to switch your class through online.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
First of all I appreciate your efforts for being socially responsible.
You are doing a great job by maintaining proper hand hygiene and social distancing. Hand hygiene and social distancing are the key to prevent COVID infection.
I suggest you to switch your classes through online and it will be always better to stay at home until the situation settles. Considering your age and comorbid conditions, you are highly susceptible for complications and it will be better to avoid infection at any cost. So it will be better to stay at home and try to make classes through online.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks
