Thanks for posting your query; I am sorry that both your wife and you have tested positive for covid with symptoms.

The current treatment protocol for covid infection is Symptomatic treatment, and I suggest you the same. The medications are as follows:

- Tablet Paracetamol 650mg every 4 hours after food until fever subsides.
- Tablet cetirizine 10mg twice daily for 3 to 5 days until cold and cough subsides.
- Tablet Vitamin C twice daily to be chewed orally for 5 days (Do not swallow or crush the tablet).
- Tablet Zinc 20mg twice daily after food for 5 days.

Along with the above medications, please take steam inhalation thrice daily for 3 to 5 days. Warm salt water gargling thrice daily, if you have sore throat for 3 to 5 days.

Also, your wife and you should isolate yourselves in two separate, well ventilated rooms for next 5 to 7 days.

And, most important of all, please follow covid appropriate behavior - Wear mask always, sanitize your hands regularly, and maintain physical distance from others.
