Detailed Answer:
Hello
After reviewing the reports of the patient and the medical history provided I would like to answer the questions as follow
1. she probably has developed Atrial fibrillation (ecg not attached) which has caused a dilated LA, yes dabigartan is useful and it required to prevent formation of blood clots in dilated LA.
2. Yes there are chances of bleeding with use of any blood thinners like dabigatran.
3. As of now optimal medical treatment is the treatment of choice.
4. If her LV function decrease then probably she might need surgery.
5. It’s difficult to comment without properly examination of the patient. That her treating doctor can tell better.
