Question: Multiple bumps with pus and without pus(pain on pressing) on my cheeks and forehead.Please refer photos attached to question.i am also going through laser treatment for hair removal on eyebrows.but these bumps and pustular are very irritating and i am not able to get rid of it.

Hi,

Welcome to HCM..

I reviewed your query and saw photos you posted. It seems that from long time you suffer from acne vulgaris. There are inflammatory papules and closed comedones. Acne is a multifactorial skin disease precipitated by many factors like stress,hormonal imbalance, exercise,anxiety,sleeplessness, exposure to sun,...etc

I would suggest...

- Tab Azithromycine 500 mg daily for 3 days in a week for 6 months ..morn,empty stomach
- tab zinc sulfate at night daily
- tab vitamin C 1000 mg daily
- Apply clindamycine gel at night on lesions
- use face wash containing glycolic acid
- be calm and free from anxiety
- take enough sleep
- shampoo with ketoconazole containing shampoo
- stop Laser treatment for hairs till you get relief from acne

thanks for reply sir.i have few follow up doubts
1.do i need pantoprazole capsule; as i am taking antibiotic for long time empty stomach?
2.Laser removal treatment causing acne ? i am taking treatment only for eyebrows but acnes are on cheeks, forehead.
3.is there any common tab with composition vitamin C 1000 mg and zinc tab?like becosules.
4.i am also using benzac ac 2.5 % 2 times a day and neutrogena oil free FW. shall i stop it ?

Hi,

Welcome back.

As I said previously, acne is a multifactorial disease.. avoid factors which precipitate or exacerbate the acne.

- you do not need pantoprazole or any other H2 blocker.

- laser therapy might cause or exacerbate the acne. So, stop it. There is no need to go for eye brows hair removal.

- there is no combination with a high dose of vitamin C and zinc. So, take both of them separately. Continue for about two years or more even after clearance of lesions.

- stop Benzac AC, start clindamycin gel and cleanse the face with facewash containing glycolic acid. Stop facewash which you use.

- avoid stress, anxiety, doubts, and over-enthusiasm for fast clearance of acne lesions. Just be cool and calm, have a positive attitude and be fearless for the look .. you will be happy with skin and mind.

Hope this would be the last conversation which would be definitely helpful to you.

Remember look may change with a change of mind. The stable mind will make you strong. Now no more questions regarding this issue to me or any doctor because your confusion is removed.

Thank you so much sir for clearing my all doubts. only want to know about how much zinc sulphate mg i should take? any tablet recommendations.
