My 15 Year Old Son Has Been Complaining Of Pain

Question: My 15 year old son has been complaining of pain in stomach after eating. He describes it as a sharp pain, as if its being eaten from inside out. Tums help. What could be issue & how can we fix?

Have seen your details sir and I appreciate your concerns,
Can you please elaborate the term pain in stomach..Easiest way is divide complete abdomen(below ribs and above pubis) of your son in three equal half's by two lines and then divide these line by two vertical halves(making 9 quadrants)...If confused just see on Google quadrants of abdomen(it's very easy)...After doing that tell me if pain is in upper middle part or left middle part etc.

It’s difficult for him to pinpoint, but from what I gather, it’s upper, middle & along the sides of right & left.

From the information provided it seems to be a case of gastritis with disturbed gut Flora.
2 over the counter medicines are suggested-
1)Prizolec two times a day.
2)Capsule VSL#3 twice daily
Take them for 5 days.
Give soft food to the kid.
Banana apple sauce toast and rice would be a good option.
