Question: My 43 year old husband is having pain in his left testicle. His scrotum is tighter than normal and his testicle is pushed up higher than normal.
He has been lifting heavy drywall in the cold, but this pain has been consistent for a couple of days.
What should he do?

Thanks for the query,
Testicular pain has to be evaluated thoroughly.
We have to rule out have to rule out possibilities like torsion testes and epididymitis.
Most probably it will be a minor contusion of the cord predisposed by weight lifting.
Consult a general surgeon and get an ultrasound scan scrotum done.
As of now you can use analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief.
