Question: My 65 year old wife was sitting on couch talking with me about decorating. All of a sudden she shrieked and started crying saying that everything was whirling in her vision. She is seeing okay now but unsteady on her feet. What should I do?

I think you should go to visit an ENT doctor. Possibly she is having an issue with inner ear. Meniere disease can be a cause of these symptoms of things spinning around, dizziness instability and hearing problems.
