Question: My 93 year old mother has a couple of severe pressure wounds on her hips. The Hospice nurse who treats her uses Medihoney to promote healing. The nursing care owner insists that the Medihoney actually destroys surrounding tissue, is making the wound larger and that Silver Sulfadiazine should be used for treatment. Who is correct?
