My GP Will No Longer Prescribe Ambien To Me Since

Question: My GP will no longer prescribe Ambien to me since I have been on it over a year. However, it is the only thing that helps me get to sleep, especially since my husband of 26 years recently and unexpectedly died. Can I find a doctor who will continue to proscribe that for me for another year? I have no other medical issues. Thank you. Best, XXXXXXX Klein.
Brief Answer:
I agree with your doctor
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma’am, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but I agree with your doctor.. You should discontinue Ambien due to the serious expected side effects of long term use including hallucinations, confusion , loss of muscles control , depression and even suicidal thoughts.. I would recommend that you substitute Ambien with an over the counter non addictive sleep aid as doxylamin ( unisom sleeptaps). I hope you find this helpful..
