He has received all birth vaccines, and next vaccine is due by 6 weeks of age. At 6 weeks, we can give Pentavalent, Polio, and Rotavirus vaccines.
No particular care is needed at vaccination site. Just avoid massaging or ice application. Some fever and irritability is expected after Pentavalent vaccine, for which you can Paracetamol drops for 1-2 days.
The mentioned vocalisations and lip movements are part of normal new born behaviour and nothing to be worried about.

Hi Aslam, I heard about PCV13 vaccine and will it be cover every under OPV1 or Penta or IPV or ROTA ?
Brief Answer:
No, we have to get it additionally
Detailed Answer:
Hi SatyaSai,
Welcome back
What i had mentioned before was the vaccines covered under national immunisation schedule(supplied by government free of cost).
PCV13 is pneumococcal vaccine that gives protection against pneumonia and meningitis caused by Pneumococcus bacteria.
This is a very good vaccine, but not covered in national schedule; we have to buy extra. 3 doses are needed 1month apart(6weeks/10weeks/14weeks age), followed by a booster after 1 year. One dose costs around 3800 INR.
So, if affordable, it is better to add PCV13 also; but not included in OPV/Penta/IPV/ROTA
If you need further clarification, I will be happy to help; otherwise you can close the discussion and kindly rate the answer.
