My Sister Has Diabetes From Past 10 Years And Usually

Question: My Sister has Diabetes from past 10 years and usually it used to be really high but from one year with her diet control and insulin it has come down. she is under weight from many years.

today we did a test, below are the results also attaching the PDF result

Fasting - 250
PLBS - 315

Please advice some insulin which should show some results.

dear sir, it seems that ur sister has type 1 diabetes.
She should be on two different insulin.
1. meal related insulin, which needs to be given immediately before food. breakfast, lunch, and dinner
2. basal insulin, which needs to be given at bed time.
dose will depend upon her weight and sugar control.
inj novorapid 6 units three times before meals
inj Lantus 10 units bed time
you need to check blood sugar 4 times a day , every time before giving insulin.
certain test need to be done.
1. HBA1C
2. TSH
3. FT4
4. RFT
5. LFT
6. LIPID PROFILE
