Question: Hi.. My baby is 1month old. Suddenly we saw there is a small cut on forehead. And little bit blood. My wife is not sure that that it's because of her bangle or what. What should we do. Today she had some vaccination.
Brief Answer:
Most likely injury..,.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
From the description it seems the child sustained an injury. May be the injury was subtle and unnoticed.
Vaccines do not cause such cuts.
Is it bleeding still? How big is the cut? If possible post a picture of the affected area.
Regards

Very little bleeding.. Stopped now.. And what is the difference between painless and pain vaccine... Which one is good for baby
Brief Answer:
Pain vaccine more effective...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I'm glad it's not bleeding now. If the cut is very small and there is no bleeding it will heal.
Pain vaccine is the whole vaccine. In the sense it contain most components of pertussis. Pain less one has acellular pertussis component. This makes pain vaccine more effective with wider coverage of pertussis prevention than painless vaccine.
Hope I made sense. Let me know if you need clarification.

I was not aware of this.. And we took painless vaccination yesterday... What should we do now?.. Can we go painful vaccination next time?... Please help us
Brief Answer:
Same vaccine...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It's more beneficial to give same type vaccine all three doses and booster dose thereafter.
Painless vaccine has been used in many infants and it has effectively prevented common pertussis infection. So I wouldn't be overly worried. You can go ahead with same type of vaccine for all subsequent doses.
Hope it helps. Let me know if you need clarification.
