Question: My boy 5 years old. Taking medication tapper laxative due to constipation.. One week ago i found out that his gingival was black... What is the diagnosis n how to cure? And he often sweat in the sleep at night
Brief Answer:
Not a Pathology.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for writing to us.
I have viewed the image and the pigmentation looks like the physiological pigmentation due to too much melanin production.
It doesn't look like any pathology.
So do not worry.
As far as treatment is concerned it should be avoided now as it can be removed using lasers.
For excessive sweating you should consult a Pediatrician and get him clinically evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards.

Is it dangerous? Why it suddenly showed up?. Its not metal poison or cancer or any other syndrome?
Brief Answer:
Needs further evaluation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
If the pigmentation has suddenly appeared and if the gums were completely pink previously then a clinical examination and further investigation has to be done for diagnosis.
It can be related to certain conditions like any syndrome or toxicity but must be associated with more symptoms and not simply gum pigmentation.
So for a confirmation once get him clinically checked by a Paediatric Dentist..
