My Boyfriend Is 27 And Has Not Had Intercourse For

Question: My boyfriend is 27 and has not had intercourse for the last two years prior to meeting me. Now that we are active he can not always ejaculate. He does drink, so on the times he does not ejaculate he has had a drink, and the times he did not drink he did ejaculate. He can ejaculate through masturbation, so it is very frustrating for him. I just want to be there for him. He does take Lisinopril for blood pressure as well.

Brief Answer:
Stop alcohol intake and behavioural therapy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I don't think this situation is related to lisinopril intake.
I think this is just emotional problem due to staying for long time without a partner and masturbating.
Also alcohol intake can make the situation worse.
I can recommend him to stop drinking.
Also he can use behavioural therapy to improve the ejaculation problems.
You both can work together to improve emotionally and physically.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
