My Boyfriend Started Getting Cold Sweats, Body Aches And A

Question: My boyfriend started getting cold sweats, body aches and a fever of 101.5 about 3 days ago. He woke up yesterday feeling 100% better but then today he woke up with a rash all over his hands and feet. Any idea what this may be?

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Your history and complaints suggest viral fever.

But the picture of the rash resembles a mosquito bite /allergic rash with itching(?) than a viral rash...Mostly the viral fevers go in a week's time.

* With no other respiratory, urinary, or changed bowel habit or undue weakness....you should add antiallergic over the counter and Acetaminophen as per need for 5 days. (In case these are there, you should consult your physician immediately)

Drink warm water, light nourishing food, take usual care of mask and hand washes, and steam inhalation.

* In case the symptoms do not regress or increase with or without the other symptoms mentioned above....you should consult your family physician, get investigated for Covid 19 infection. (This being the Pandemic and the new infection is presenting with uncommon symptoms day by day...it's advisable to get it excluded).
