My Chest Xray Shows Inhomogeneous Opacity Seen In The Right

Question: My chest xray shows inhomogeneous opacity seen in the right paracardiac region. What does that mean? I have been experiencing chronic coughing for the past 2 weeks. The coughing is dry in nature and there is no mucus after coughing. Occassional fever, chills as well as slight pain in the centre of the chest is there. What could be the diagnosis? I have been told by doctor that it's Pnemonia and have been put on medication. But the condition isn't improving even after 4 days of taking medication. Kindly suggest.
Brief Answer:
This x ray report is suggestive of pneumonia.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Ask a doctor forum.
I can understand your concern.
This x ray report is suggestive of pneumonia only.
It will be of great help if you can send me picture of your x ray.
Also let me know which antibiotics you are taking.
Usually, recovery in pneumonia occurs in 7-10 days. So you can wait for 5-6 days more.
I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
