Brief Answer:
may be due to uncontrolled diabetes. Please see detailed answer.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query. Here is my advice. I am unable to see attached image. Please reload.

As per your history, Your father blood sugar level is not under control. Cracked heels are mainly due to uncontrolled diabetes. So blood sugar levels should be under control.

Please let me know his postprandial (After breakfast) blood sugar level and HbA1c i e three months average sugar and antidiabetic medications details.

Till then for that I would suggest him to apply moisturizer containing petroleum/ceramide/salicyclic acid twice a day. Soak foot in the warm water for 10 to 15 mins daily.

Along with that use well cushioned shoes and soaks. Avoid bare foot walking. Heel cups may also help. In case of infection, he may require antibiotics/antifungal medications after Dermatologist consultation.

Do regular foot examination and watch for ulcer/discharge.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
