My Daughter Admitted For Anemia . She Has Severe Abdominal
Other tests need to be performed, that are diagnostic for DIC
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to ask your question and ask help for your daughter's health concern.
From what you are describing it doesn't seem to fulfill the criteria of DIC. DIC develops more fast and platelets should be very low. Other criteria to decide about DIC is prolonged protrombin time, high D-dimer levels and low fibrinogen levels.
Maybe you can talk with the doctors at the clinic where your daughter is admitted to let them know your concerns and they can maybe consider doing the other diagnostic tests if they think it is reasonable according to your daughter's situation.
Or if these tests have been performed, then you can let me know, and I will be glad to reevaluate again.
I hope it is not DIC. Even though I would say that where is splenomegaly, it is always something to be ruled out.
I hope I answered your question. Let me know if I can help with other concerns or clarifications.

Everything that you have over her health and situation helps
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the follow up question.
As for me I will need everything that she has and has done first and by that can try to determine if there is any diagnosis that the doctors there have missed. Then I can see if any other tests are needed.
As for your suspension of being DIC I have mentioned in the previous question what other tests are needed for that.
I think in your daughter's case, it is important her progression also. How is she doing with the treatment now, and according to that can be decided the next step in the treatment.
Let me know if that makes sense and if you have other questions or concerns.
