Question: One of my daughter fell down and hit her forehead (near the eye). She is 3.5 yrs old. There are two cust's and we have applied Bitadine ointment for the moment. I am worried it will leave a mark. Can you please suggest a suitable ointment so the marks don't remain?

Brief Answer:
Wound unclear...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The wound in the picture is smeared with the ointment. I am unable to visualize the size or the depth of wound in this picture.
Commonly a large and deep wound heal by secondary intention. Here there is a scar. Therefore such wounds need sutures. But a small and superficial wound where the ends are not separated will heal by primary intention. Scars are almost not seen or very minimal in the second case.
So if the wound was superficial and there was no gaping, then you need not be really worried about scars.
Hope this helps. If not, I wish to see the raw wound without any ointment over it.
Regards
