Brief Answer:
Give Paracetamol

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

A sudden onset fever without any other symptoms is probably a viral illness. If she is otherwise fine, we need not worry.

You can give her Paracetamol to control fever. Exact dose depends on her weight. If she is above 30kg, you can give 500mg Paracetamol tablet 3 times daily. Only if the fever is not subsiding in 1 hour, we need to give Mefenamic acid. For her, Meftalp-p(containing 100mg Mefenamic acid) would be insufficient. Instead you can give her Meftal 250mg DT tablet 2-3 times daily if fever is not responding to paracetamol.

If fever persists beyond 72 hours or if she develops additional symptoms, kindly get back to me. Meanwhile, let her take some rest, drink enough fluids and have a soft diet.

I hope this answer will help
