Seems to be due to BPPV
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using the Ask a Doctor service.
I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. The organ of hearing that lies in our inner ear (vestibulocochlear apparatus) is also associated with the sense of balance. Certain viral infections can give rise to such presentations as you have described. This could be a case of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). Meclizine is an over the counter medication that can help. Vestibulocochlear stabilizing agents like cinnarizine or betahistine might be needed but since these are prescription medicines you might need to visit a doctor to get these prescribed. You also need ask your daughter to take plenty of water and fluids to drink.
If that does not help, the next step would be to get an electronystagnogram (ENG) and audiometry done. An ENT consultation would help.
Let me know if I could help further.
Regards
