Brief Answer:
The treatment is correct but its better to get an examination

Detailed Answer:
Hey thanks for the question . The treatment is correct and should work eventually but its better to get an eye exam to rule out any internal injury or defect . As its been only one day it might take some time to recover . Secondly for excessive irritaion please add some carboxymethylcellulose eye drops to the treatment . But do get an eye examination and see a doctor in person as its an injury . Hope my answer helps you . Regards
