My Doctor Says That I Should Be Taking 2000 IU
Question: My doctor says that I should be taking 2000 IU of vitamin E daily. What should I be asking her about this recommendation? When I read about E, I note that 2000 seems quite high and with the possibility of multiple negative side affects. Her diagnosis was not clear enough for me to understand her recommendation. I am normally health, male and 81 years old. I take no other medication except for marginally elevated blood pressure. See below.
