My Eyes Get Extremely Dry During The Night. I Wake
Question: My eyes get extremely dry during the night. I wake up multiple times with dry eyes. please advise which non preservative eye drops would you recommend for dry eyes. How many times during night can I administer the eye drops? Thanks.

Hey thanks for the question . Eye drops are best during the day time and you can use carboxymethylcellulose drops six times a day . At night time its better to use an ointment with the same formulation as ointments will stay for longer in the eye and thus you wont have to wake up multiple times . We have to find out the cause of your dry eye also as severe dry eye is usually associated with systemic diseases like thyroid disorders, connective tissue disorders, computer vision disorders and you should be tested for the same .
