Question: My father is suffering from ckd stage 3. He has developed e coli infection. Is NetSuite o we 300 twice a day is safe to use for his treatment.

I have gone through your query and reviewed attached images. Here is my advice.

As per your history, I think you are asking about tablet merosure O ER 300. It is usually used against e coli UTI.

As per many clinical studies, this medication should be used causiously in kidney and liver diseases. As there is very limited data is available. So kindly discuss with consulting physician.

As per my knowledge, I would suggest you to do urine culture sensitivity (didn't found in attached reports). On the basis of that, physician can prescribe suitable antibiotic considering renal disease. If already done, follow up with reports.

Along with that continue tablet taldom and syp cital as advised. Keep him hydrated as advised.
