My Fiance Has A Small Hard Lump Behind Each Ear,

Question: My fiance has a small hard lump behind each ear, with one being bigger than the other. they are very hard to the touch and cause her no pain. they are both small with the bigger one being smaller than a marble. Any idea what this could be? should we go to a dr now or wait an see for a week.

I read your query and here is my advice.

I think the hard bump she has behind each ear can be fibrotic lymph nodes.
They are formed when we have an infection possible ear infection or skin infection.
As the infection goes away they may shrink and be small in size and fibrotic.
I don't think this lymph nodes are cause of concern.
Probably they will not change size during time. You may not need to go to doctor.

Should they eventually go down on their own? What would be cause to go to a doctor (they dont go away, pain, ect)
