Brief Answer:
moderately high SGPT level, need additional details to guide precisely.

Detailed Answer:
Warm welcome to Ask A Doctor service.
I have evaluated your query with attached blood test report & find my advise below.

* The report is suggestive of moderately high SGPT level which is an enzyme test
indicating function of the liver.

There are many reasons for such change in the report, kindly provide me further details so that I can answer your query completely.

1. Give complete details of current complains apart from weakness.
2. Does he have fever, weight alteration ?
3. Is there vomiting, abdomen pain, yellow urine ?
4. Constipation or altered stool colour if any ?

Awaiting for your response.

Brief Answer:
follow up.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the follow up.

* With this SGPT level, there does not sound a valid reason for severe progressive
weakness.

* My guidelines at present
- Maintain his hydration with plenty of liquids as boiled water, lemon juice, coconut
water, butter milk etc.
- Add multi vitamin tablet in current drug basket.
- discuss need of ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis for further management with his
doc.

Wish him fine recovery.
Take care.
