Question: My friend and I ate lunch in a car together today. We had our masks off for a few minutes while all of the windows were open and the air was on (not recirculated air). What are the chances of me catching Covid From her since we had our masks off for a few minutes

Brief Answer:
Least possible if both of you were healthy &with good iunity.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Allibquin,
Thanks for the query.I understand your concern.
When you are with your friend in a car, eating your lunch...masks being removed....I guess at a distance less than a meter(3feet),
There are few factors which would decide transmission of Covid.
* There are no chances of getting infected if both of you are in good health...with good resistance.
* In case your friend does not have any symptoms (fever, cough, cold with sneezing or breathing trouble..)
There are least chances of getting infected.
* If your friend had coughed or sneezed, during the lunch time, the chances are raised .
*The chances again increase with possible physical nearness before or after lunch.
**To exclude any infection...you should get tested for Covid screening test ,in case you have suggestive symptoms within 14 days of exposure(that is the maximum incubation period for the disease)
I hope, that helps. Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks.
