Question: Hi my grand daughter16 month old have one loose motion around 5 hrs back now she has fever of 101 F
And also vomited 15 mints back.
We gave him ondem syrup and a little ors.

This suggests acute gastroenteritis/food poisoning. Most of these are viral and need only supportive measures. If she is otherwise active, playful and taking feeds, we need not worry much.
Give her ORS in small frequent sips after each stools to prevent dehydration. Give approximately 100 ml after each stools.
Continue giving Paracetamol 3-4 times daily and Ondem syrup 2-3 times daily for next 48 hours.
Avoid giving fruits/juices/sugars until recovery- these will worsen diarrhea.
With these measures, she will be fine in 3-4 days.
If fever persists beyond 3rd day, stool contains blood/thick mucus, she develops severe abdominal pain or if she becomes very tired/not at all taking feeds, we will need further evaluation. Otherwise no worries
