Question: My hair is thinning on top at part but not falling out. I hate to start minoxidil because it is a lifetime deal. I have read that clinical formula Hair La Vie hair vitamins which block DHT work as well. What is your opinion?

Minoxidil solution and oral finasteride are the only approved remedies for androgenetic alopecia in males. Though there are several alternatives which claim to work as well but the results are undocumented. Moreover they claim to score over finasteride due to lack of sexual side effects unlike finasteride which i believe is anyways not a concern in 98-99% of those taking it. Therfore, in my view, none of the alternatives works as well as minoxidil solution and oral finasteride for androgenetic alopecia/ thining in males.
