Question: My husband, 58 years old, is a fighter pilot who had Mono in his early 20s. He suffers from fatigue and flu like symptoms periodically. The Flight Surgeon just grounds him for weeks to months in addition to lab work. What type of specialist should he be seeing such as infectious disease specialist or someone that specializes in viruses?
